CALI Districts The state is divided into thirteen districts.  Each CALI member in California may select one District which which they choose to affiliate.  If you are considering membership in CALI, you are welcomed to attend a District meeting. District Meetings

The District meetings are an excellent way to meet with your colleagues in your local area. Not only are the District Meetings a valuable educational resource, but they also provide networking and professional referral opportunities.

Each District holds a minimum of four meetings per year for the purpose of providing educational programs and to provide local networking opportunities for the District members. Each District elects a District Director to serve as a member of the CALI Board of Directors to represent the needs and concerns of the district.

The District Governor is the presiding officer at the District level and is responsible for the scheduling of District meetings and for determining the educational and informational programs at each meeting.

Each District holds a minimum of four meetings during the year (July - May), one of which is held in May for the purpose of electing a District Director and Governor.

The District Director is elected by the eligible voting members of the District to serve as a member of the CALI Board of Directors. They are required to attend the Board of Directors meetings and to represent the needs, concerns and recommendations of your District to the Board of Directors.

The District Director provides assistance to the Governor in administrating the District and is responsible for assuming the duties of the Governor if that individual is unable to carry out his or her duties.
