Ron is privileged to be a volunteer at Calvary Chapel, Modesto, CA since 2006. Applying his medical background in the Special Needs children's ministry, he works with other volunteers in a place where parents of children with severe medical and developmental impairment can bring their kids while they attend church. This is often the only way these parents can go to church.
As part the social mission statement for his company, RLA investigations, Ron continues to provide direct victim assistance free of charge to crime victims in his community.

Ron became an investigator in 2010 after recognizing a need for investigators with specific, advanced medical training.
Applying his background in Emergency Medical Services administration and clinical nursing- which includes risk management and investigating medical and emergency operations mishaps, Ron has performed investigations focusing on medical evidence in cases involving murder, rape, and medical malpractice, as well as routine criminal defense and prosecution investigations.
As a currently certified, American Heart Association instructor in the areas of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Cardiac Life Support, Ron continues to enjoy teaching.
Related to his background in national Urban Search & Rescue disaster response, Ron is an on-call federal employee with the National Disaster Medical System as a Supervisory Nurse Specialist with CA Disaster Medical Assistance Team CA-6. Ron is a founding member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security following the 9/11 attacks. As a disaster response practitioner and instructor, Ron has developed specific expertise in the evaluation and implementation of disaster medical response systems.
Ron is married and has two teenaged sons, and has lived in the California central valley intermittently since 1989, and continuously since 2002. He enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. With his HAM radio license - KG6ILG - Ron stays in good communication with associates all over the world.
