N.L.I.T.E. – eNEWS REPORT
May 2012
CALI Board of Directors and Members:
The NLITE team is currently looking forward to yet another great event which will be held prior to the "SUPER CONFERENCE in San Diego. The annual CALI Conference is always a great time for new members and newly licensed investigators to come together and network catch up on the latest and greatest gadget in the industry and add to their training portfolio.
Like I was saying in the last issue, the NLITE staff and I have drawn resources from all over the United States and we have polled professionals in the industry across the nation. We have searched the internet to find the most up to date information and we are adding it to the NLITE events. We have even added a forum on the NLITE CALI webpage so that testimonials and comments can be posted about the events. We are continuing to build the NLITE documents page by gathering information, contracts, documents and forms to be placed on the NLITE webpage for event attendees as well as all the membership to access as a resource. If any of the members have documents or basic information which they feel would be helpful to newly licensed investigatosr please submit it to me at cwsellers@tsigusa.com.
What is NLITE? N.L.I.T.E.stands for, Newly Licensed Investigator Training & Enrichment”, these CALI sponsored events are jam packed with information for the newly licensed investigator. This packed 8 hours of basic newly licensed investigator information has become the most sought after "Investigator 101” event in our state and its design is currently be sought after by several associations across the nation. It all started in YOUR association.
This event was designed to be a place where newly licensed investigators could gather information, protect their self legally, discover the industry work ethics and be greeted by CALI leaders from the President down to their very own District Director and Governor.
The NLITE staff is now in full swing of gearing up for the NLITE V event in San Diego (at the CALI Super Conference). You as the membership along with the current Board of Directors have given this training event everything it needed to be a success and in doing so you are preparing many new investigators for the future and also adding new CALI members to our association at the rate of 200+ new members per year.
As I write I reflect on how it continues to be a pleasure and a privilege to work with the outstanding group of professionals now involved with the NLITE program and how each one works relentlessly to improve on each event. To all of them I say thank you because without them this program would not have been a success. I remain focused on continuing to improve this program, lead the NLITE team and to serve this association in the area of improved educational enrichment.
