The Scholarship Awards are for the purpose of promoting the professional standing of the investigation and security professions and those committed to continuing education.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be one of the following:
A licensed private investigator or private patrol operator
The son or daughter of a licensee
An employee of a licensee
Sponsored by a member of CALI
Criteria for Selection:
All applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. The basis for selection by the committee will be the quality of the applicant.s article and what distinguishes the candidate as deserving of the award. The Committee may also take into consideration the financial need for theaward and the candidate.s educational pursuits as they relate to the investigation or security industry.
Application Requirements:
Applications must include an original 250 to 500 word article authored by the applicant and must meet the "Criteria for Selection". All such articles shall become the property of the California Association of Licensed Investigators, and may be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and/or its designees. The applicant authorizes the publication of the article, in whole or in part.
