President's Message

Greetings members. We are fast approaching the holiday season and we hope our members are finding plenty of work to keep them busy.  Approximately 30 to 45 people become private investigators every month in California.  If you know such a person we encourage you to recommend CALI.  They will be able to take advantage of our low rate and attend NLITE for a nominal fee to cover the costs of meals. Safety News

Discipline is a critical component of high-functioning safety systems. Used in the right way, discipline establishes an organization’s commitment to safety by enforcing the rules and procedures designed to keep people safe. It encourages employees to always be vigilant about following safety protocols, especially when engaging in high-risk tasks such as working at height, in confined spaces and in lockout/tagout jobs. Discipline also protects leaders by ensuring follow-through on every rule violation. Click here to read more.

What’s in an address? You’d be surprised.
Why TLOxp Address Reports belong in your investigator toolkit
by Neil Caddell, manager, Locate/Investigative Markets at TransUnion|TLOxp

Like most private investigators, I keep my eyes open a little wider than most. That's probably why I noticed an older gentleman, picking up a child from my daughter's school acting aggressively towards other kids. The school noticed him too, and also knew I was a licensed PI, so they engaged me to look into this individual as a safety precaution. Click here to read more.
