LA District Meeting & Election: "Child Molestation, Sexual Assault, Rape, and other Sex Crimes”

CALI Los Angeles District Meeting & Election
Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 12:00 pm

"Investigating Child Molestation, Sexual Assault, Rape and other Sex Crimes”

Our special guest speaker will be the distinguished criminal defense attorney Ambrosio Rodriguez, who is an expert in cases involving child molestation, sexual assault, rape, and other sex crimes.

DISTRICT ELECTION NOTICE: We will have District Elections at this May meeting. District Director Jay Rosenzweig will be completing his first year of a two-year term, so there will be no election for District Director. Incumbent District Governor Howard Dratch, whose term is one year, is running for reelection. Please let us know if you would like to run or nominate someone for this position. A portion of the meeting will include a brief discussion of CALI District matters, upcoming CALI events, and happenings at the board level. We hope you can join us!

OPPORTUNITY DRAWING: If you wish, please bring a gift valued at $20 or more to support CALI and promote your business.

NETWORKING: Bring your business cards for the NETWORKING session which starts 30 minutes before the meeting. Take this opportunity to meet your colleagues and build business relationships. If you are just starting out, looking for new cases, or need assistance in a new unfamiliar area, this is a good reason to attend and meet fellow CALI members.

MENU: Lunch and Drinks are not included with registration. Attendees may order from the restaurant menu.

Ambrosio Rodriguez, Criminal Defense Attorney
Criminal Defense Attorney Ambrosio Rodriguez understands the highly sensitive nature of sex crime charges. From experience, he knows that—ideally-- anybody facing these sorts of allegations should be represented by an experienced lawyer, assisted, if appropriate, by a knowledgeable investigator. As a former prosecutor, Mr. Rodriguez worked as a Trial Team Leader of a Sex Crimes Unit, during which he prosecuted more than 1,000 cases and questioned hundreds of experts. He knows the system well, including both prosecution and defense tactics, because he has worked in it for so many years. In this presentation, you will get a unique inside look into the latest developments in this important field.

All CALI members throughout California are invited to join us for this unique presentation. If you have any questions, feel free to call me. We look forward to seeing you!
