The presentation portion of the meeting will be a 60 minute session, including Q&A. We will discuss CALI District business matters during the meeting before our guest speaker begins their presentation.

DISTRICT ELECTIONS - The Election of next years District Governor will take place at this meeting.

OPPORTUNITY DRAWING - There will be an opportunity drawing at this meeting. Please bring a gift for the drawing and funds to purchase tickets.

Carla Rodriquez, Chief Deputy District Attorney Sonoma County

Carla Rodriquez is a Chief Deputy District Attorney at the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office where she has worked since 1997. Carla has handled almost every assignment, including domestic violence, elder abuse, homicides, sexual assault, environmental crimes, and juvenile cases. She has taken over 70 cases to jury trial during this time, and now supervises the mental health caseload and the Elder Protection Unit Carla is currently the President of the Sonoma County Women in Law, an organization that promotes the furtherance of women in all areas of the legal field and provides scholarships to deserving law students with ties to Sonoma County. She is also President of Verity, Sonoma County’s sole nonprofit that assists and provides prevention education to local schools. She is on the advisory board of Roseland Prep. Carls lives in Windsor with husband, a dentist, and her son and daughter.

Assistant Sheriff Eddie Engram, Sonoma County

Assistant Sheriff Eddie joined the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office in 2002.  Rising through the ranks. Assistant Sheriff Engram has served as a Domestic Violence / Sexual Assault Detective, Explorer Advisor, Internal Affairs Investigator, Hostage Negotiation Team member, use of force instructor, and a Field Training Officer. Engram was continually assigned roles with increasing responsibility for community safety, including managing the Crisis Intervention Training program, acting as Watch Commander, heading up the Professional Standards Bureau – including Internal Affairs – and overseeing the Patrol Bureau, Dispatch, Court Security, Fire Assistance, and Liaison to the Independent Office of Law Enforcement Review and Outreach. 

Upon promotion to Assistant Sheriff, Engram’s purview expanded to include the Detention Division and all Detention-related services, managing a $70 million annual budget. 

He has lived in Sonoma County for 17 years, with his wife who is a lifelong Santa Rosan. Their children were born in Sonoma County and go to school here.  Assistant Sheriff Eddie wants Sonoma County to be a safe place to live for everyone.
