You’re invited to join us on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone for our upcoming Central Coast District Mixer - a relaxed, in-person gathering to connect with fellow investigators, exchange practical insights, and enjoy some good company.
Whether you’ve been with CALI for years or are newer to the organization, this is a great opportunity to spend time with colleagues in a laid-back setting and strengthen our local network. We encourage the sharing of useful pointers, resources, and current practices so everyone can walk away with something valuable.
We’ll be meeting from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at
Validation Ale, a beautiful venue in the heart of the Funk Zone with ample parking and an easygoing atmosphere. They’ve been kind enough to host us with individual ordering and separate checks, so there’s no cost to attend - just come as you are. They also offer a gluten-friendly menu, which you can view
here.
CALI will provide small bites/appetizers and one drink ticket (beer, wine, or a non-alcoholic beverage) per registered attendee. All attendees must register through the CALI website. This helps us maintain an accurate headcount and prepare for your arrival.
As part of the mixer, we’re asking each attendee to come prepared with one valuable pointer - whether it’s a marketing idea, a lesser-known resource, or something “out of left field” that others in the room may not have encountered. The goal is for everyone to walk away with at least one actionable takeaway to help build their business.
I’ll also share a few brief updates on what we’re working on in the district and ways to get involved if you’re interested.
